while we were watching the oscars tonight

Only one more week til I get to spend 5 days in paradise with the love of my life.
Color me excited (and stressed to get everything done that needs to be done in time).
Something feels so wrong, so off in my life, I might just be hungover and pms-ing or it might be for real… but now I can’t sleep, even though I’m so tired, why oh why, all I want is to have the kind of sleep that fixes things.
Also today I discovered I babysit one of the designers/owners of rag&bone’s kids. Wut
oh and i ate so much good food too.
sushi, a lychee martini, carrot cake, brunch today, hot chocolate from Marie Belle, a Murray Melt from Murray’s Cheese in the village,
sleep and food. my two favorite things in the world!
i got SO much sleep this weekend,

midnight - 5PM on saturday night/sunday all day (well, I’d wake up for an hour at a time or so and patter around my apartment then slide back into bed with brett)
mightnight - 11AM on sunday night/monday (today) morning
then like a 2 hour nap this afternoon
I have really enjoyed this three day weekend, thanks President’s day ;)
getting drunk with your best friend and your cat is the best on a friday night
in your apartment
where you can drink cheap wine and go get a cheeseburger later if you want
my tummy is growling

I just spent the last 30 minutes sobbing in bed with Brett about a personal issue I have. He held me, wiped my tears, and kissed me while I cried it out. Then he brought me a strawberry mochi ice cream ball and apple slices. I’m munching on those in bed now while he smokes outside on the balcony (ps, my boyfriend rolls his own cigarettes, I just always really appreciate that ha). Anyways, point...

I love living in the 1920s today ;) my toes are freezing but I’m so happy. I love working on this film.
